About MFest, Muslim Festival of Cultures and Ideas 2018

MFest, is the Britain’s first literature festival dedicated to Muslim cultures and ideas, scheduled to debut at the British Library from Friday 27 to Sunday 29 April 2018.

This spectacular Festival is a unique platform for emerging and established writers to present their works and bring together people of different backgrounds. MFest will explore writing about contemporary Muslim thought on topics from sports and science to global politics, with exciting panel discussions, creative arts and crafts, lively performance, fun packed family events and intriguing food events. MFest will grapple with secular issues relevant to all, while preserving its intent to celebrate and share a breadth of Muslim ideas. In the run up to the festival, we are running a one-of-a-kind  schools programme for young people.

MFest has charitable objectives, it is not a religious organisation and is politically neutral.
